Now Selling At www.Junkables.com

It's been a while since I posted here and thought since i'm usung a new site I should post about it.
http://www.junkables.com/  is my main place of online sales now. I'm in the process of moving my ecrater store to junkables. It's a free site and the owner is very nice and helpful too. I have had many sales there and enjoy listing once again.

Picking in Florida

Picking in Florida has it's challenges. In the south there is money but it's not at many of the places I pick. And if it is there no one's admitting to having it. The flea market where I pick has turned into a place for clothes cell phones and used Tupperware mostly. 25 years ago it started as a place to buy and sell old stuff. Today  most sellers that have old stuff that I mostly search for either have grand expectations without doing the research of what they have. Or don't even have anything i'm hunting. In this day and age of information plastered on the TV and web everyone thinks they are so educated. When in fact unless your working currently in the business your out of touch with what's desirable today and what was desirable yesterday.

Yesterday more antiques were all the rage. And to some degree they still are but there was a shift in popularity over the last 10 years to mid century modern items gaining popularity. Lately My shift has been also towards more modern mid century items. I'm selling at 2 different sites. http://www.nothingnew.ecrater.com/  and http://www.junkables.com/  . I'm shifting more of my items to the junkables site because It's a new site and I like the way it's setup. Now that i've introduced you  into a little of my background my following posts will be of my insights of my picking adventures and some of the comments and feedback I get from picking and selling.
